Hot Tub Ozone - Explain Please

Ozone is known as ‘nature’s most powerful oxidizer’ and as such is widely used in a variety of applications. Commonly, ozone therapy is associated with water treatment processes as it is pH neutral and breaks down organic contaminants quickly leaving no residual chemicals. Arctic brand offers two ways to introduce ozone into your spa water: Onzen Salt Water Treatment System and Peak I Ozone and Peak II Ozone.

Ozone detox therapy is one of many applications for ozone gas in the health and wellness field. Hot tubs use ozone in gaseous form to back up sanitizer functions in spa water. Many of the shared attributes of ozone therapy in terms of detoxification come into play in maintaining pure spa water – ozone oxidizes organic compounds exceptionally well, leaves no residuals and is easily created and mixed into the water.
