Layers of strength

The basis of any quality spa is the strength of its shell. At Apollo, shell construction starts with Premium Lucite Acrylic, imbedded with Microban for an additional layer of anti-bacterial protection. You can choose from a wide selection of high gloss marbled and textured cast acrylics to match any decor.

An ABS backing layer is bonded to the acrylic with a special resin for extra strength and stiffness. Finally, the ABS layer is sprayed with Elastocast composite foam insulation for added shell strength. Elastocast allows heat transfer, which means waste heat generated by the spa motors and pumps can be absorbed into the spa, helping heat the water and making your hot tub more efficient.
