Apollo Spas use Perimeter Insulation, with sheet insulation on all cabinet walls and sprayed insulation in the corners and upper lip. The Perimeter Insulation system works much like that in your home, with a heated dead air space inside the cabinet where all your equipment and plumbing are housed.

Heat created by the equipment is trapped inside the cabinet and transfers through the shell into the spa water, which means your spa water requires less energy to stay hot. In return, heat from the water protects the equipment from freezing if a power failure should occur during the winter.
