Apollo Spas use recyclable Silver Sentinel micro filters, which are made of layers upon layers of polypropylene - the same material used to make pop bottles, which makes them completely recyclable! These thin flexible layers thoroughly filter suspended particles, down to one micron on a single pass, leaving you with crystal clear water without the fuss of traditional filter systems.
Further, the inner layer of this filter is imbedded with nano-silver ions that make it antiseptic, bactericidal, deodorizing, anti-mold and anti-algae, to provide additional hygiene and better cleaning compared to traditional filters and even other micro filters on the market today.
Not all hot tub filters are created equal! If you are using an inferior brand of filter, you are probably wasting time and money. Why go to the trouble and expense of buying extra chemicals and cleaning foul disposable filters?
Big chain stores often sell cheap spa filters, but these are usually low quality pleated paper filters that require frequent cleaning. Considering the extra time and the expense of cleaning chemicals, these filters are not as cheap as they seem at first glance. Try a Silver Sentinel disposable filter once and you'll never go back to so-called cheap paper filters.
Silver Sentinel filters do a better job cleaning your spa water and when they have done their job, you can just toss them in the recycle bin.
